Scrolling through LinkedIn today, I came across something that immediately caught my attention: the launch of the Entrepreneurial Future Foundation. Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited about what this means for Austria’s future.

I truly believe that Austria needs much more entrepreneurial spirit. When I look at the challenges we’re facing today—whether it’s climate change, technological sovereignty, or the broader social transformations reshaping our world—it’s clear to me that governments alone cannot provide all the answers. These issues are simply too complex and too urgent.

What we need are people who are ready to roll up their sleeves, take risks, experiment boldly, and accept responsibility for shaping solutions. In my view, entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting companies—it’s a mindset. It’s about thinking creatively, acting decisively, and bringing that spirit into every sector and every part of life.

Too many brilliant ideas remain hidden because risk feels too daunting, and many young people doubt that companies can contribute positively to society. To preserve prosperity and quality of life, a cultural shift is urgently needed.

The Entrepreneurial Future Foundation was established to champion entrepreneurship as a driving force for positive change in society. Together with inspiring personalities, it is dedicated to embedding entrepreneurial spirit as a shaping power that benefits all. Its vision is simple yet ambitious: to make entrepreneurship visible, tangible, and achievable—transforming it into a mindset that prepares Austria for the future. By supporting initiatives such as Youth Entrepreneurship Week and launching new programs, the foundation aims to strengthen entrepreneurial thinking across education, business, and everyday life.

What makes this initiative truly powerful is the diverse team behind it. With dozens of co-founders united in vision and commitment, the breadth of perspectives and experiences coming together is inspiring.

Reading about this reminded me that Austria is ready to embrace entrepreneurship—not merely as business, but as a cultural force for positive change.
